Which sites are not suitable for resolution?
Spam / Scraper Sites
About 71% of the earth is water. We estimate that a similar amount of the web is made up of so-called “spam/scraper sites.” These are sites that primarily scrape content from other sources and serve no legitimate purpose. Many contain pornography or content that makes no sense. They may hotlink a large number of photos rather than host them directly and often have very basic designs. While it’s frustrating to see your work on these sites, it is very difficult to track down the owners, many of whom live in countries outside Pixsy’s reach. For this reason, they are not suitable for Pixsy Case Resolution.

User-Submitted Content
Many sites on the Internet consist of user-submitted content, including forums, social media sites, and most desktop wallpaper sites. Generally, the user who submitted the work is responsible for payment, not the site owner. Due to the difficulty in tracking down individual users, we do not accept sites with user-submitted content unless the submitter is clearly a business. This includes most sites that sell prints, apparel and other photo-based products.

Non-Commercial and Non-Organizational Uses
Grandma makes great cookies, and we’d rather not send her an invoice. PIXSY invoices commercial and non-philanthropic organizational use of photos. While image theft is never acceptable, some uses are better resolved outside of our Super Hero Resolution program.
